The Curriculum Framework of the Board of Higher Secondary Education Delhi provides the academic structure, learning objectives and assessment methodology for Secondary and Higher Secondary education.

Objectives

??To promote conceptual understanding and practical knowledge
??To develop analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
??To encourage values, discipline and responsible citizenship
??To prepare students for higher education and professional pathways

Structure

The curriculum is designed in two stages:

??Secondary Level (Class X)
??Higher Secondary Level (Class XII)

Each stage includes:

??Core subjects
??Elective subjects
??Language subjects
??Practical and project components (where applicable)

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction shall be English and Hindi unless otherwise specified.

Assessment Pattern
